The late Roland Wise was honored for his lifelong commitment to the Burchfield-Penney Art Center during an evening reception. Center director Ted Pietrzak cited Roland for helping establish the Burchfield as a force in the art of Western New York, as well as for decades of service to Buffalo State College. He also credited Roland and the Wise family for donating works to the Burchfield.
